This weeks tasting:
1) Cirelli
–This is afresh Italian wine with dark red fruit flavors.
-soft tannins, silky texture & slightly earthy
-organically farmed, practicing biodyamics; no sulfites added
2) Lambrusco Rosso
–This is a dry sparkling wine from the Emilia-Romagne region of Italy.
-Light and refreshing with aromas of red berries and blueberries
-Flavors of strawberries and red cherries with some nice bubbles
-Serve chilled.
3)Têtê-a-Têtê
-This is an easy drinking California wine with ripe red fruit and fresh berries.
-smoky, savory notes with a long finish
-drinks like most Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages vintages
-organic, avoiding use of chemicals and additives
4) Pizza Wine
– This is a sparkling refreshing red wine in a can.
-fresh, fruity with nice acidity
-produced locally in Rhode Island
-Serve chilled.
